NASDU certified dog handler training

It is extremely important that all dog and handler teams are trained to the highest standards, and we are a National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) recognised training facility.

Professional handlers and their dogs require regular training. We have the expertise, the facilities, and the official recognition to offer on-site courses for NASDU general purpose security dog handler and drugs detection dog handler training. We also offer refresher and continuation training.

When undertaking dog handler training with us, learners will receive 120 hours of teaching. To be the best, you have to be trained by the best, and our learners are educated under the guidance of Nigel Edwards. Nigel has been a dog handler since 1974 and is a NASDU qualified dog and handler trainer.

The programmes comprise of theory training in our on-site classroom and practical tuition that takes place in off-site locations which learners may encounter when working as a dog handler. Once training is complete, learners can progress to become mobile patrol officers and supervisors, detection dog handlers, or move into security dog training.

If you would like to join one of our dog handler training courses, please get in touch for availability and costs.
